After many years baking for friends and family, cake designer Alison Ashcroft launched Frost & Crumb in 2017 specialising in wedding cakes. We now also offer celebration cakes, cupcakes and a range of sweet treats.
Alison previously studied fashion design followed by a successful career in digital marketing, before deciding to pursue her true lifelong passion for baking full time.
Alison has learnt from some of the best in the industry, having taken courses with Le Cordon Bleu cookery school in London, Squires Kitchen and top wedding cake designers Poppy Pickering and Cove Cake Design.
Frost & Crumb were awarded 'Best Newcomer' in the South West Region at the Wedding Industry Awards 2019.
Flavour and quality is at the heart of everything we bake at Frost & Crumb. We believe cakes taste divine when they are made in small batches from the finest ingredients and natural flavours. This is why all of our cakes are handcrafted from raw ingredients, we only use organic free range eggs and real butter in our recipes.
We are passionate about the environment and working towards minimising food waste as much as possible, using more recyclable materials and replacing single use plastic such as disposable piping bags, flower pics and plastic dowels with reusable or biodegradable options.
